    His Royal Highness Prince Saud bin Nayef bin Abdulaziz, Governor of the Eastern Province, is sponsoring the 2022 Women's Economic Forum, which is organized by the Asharqia Chamber in its seventh edition in mid-November under the slogan "Making Change". 

    The forum will discuss several topics related to empowering women, as one of the most important pillars of the Kingdom's Vision 2030, such as empowering them in family businesses and enhancing their role in decision-making, women in the energy, industry, and technology sectors, in addition to environmental, social practices and corporate governance. 

    The Chairman of the Asharqia Chamber, Badr bin Suleiman Al-Raziza, said that the Women’s Economic Forum for the year 2022 AD represents an extension of the previous editions organized by the Chamber during the past years and witnessed great interaction and concluded with several recommendations supporting the march of women in the economic sector, and it comes from the Chamber’s keenness to keep pace with developments and transformations. The economic situation in the country and its repercussions on Saudi women as effective and influential partners in the process of growth and development.

    Al-Raziza indicated that the most important characteristic of the seventh edition of the Women's Economic Forum 2022 is the diversity of topics that it will address and the collective dialogue that it adopts on the various roles that women can play to achieve the 2030 vision, which affirmed that women are one of the most important elements of the Kingdom's launch towards the future.

    He pointed out that the Chamber always provides support and advice through its various channels to raise the level of Saudi women, especially in the economic fields, by urging them to find mechanisms for development and modernization in the fields of production and business management, stressing the importance of the forum as it reviews the empowerment achieved for women in various fields and highlights Highlighting its active participation in the development renaissance witnessed by the country.

    It is reported that the Asharqia Chamber held the Women's Economic Forum about six previous times, during which it discussed many topics that directly or indirectly affect women's economic empowerment. And its economic empowerment, whether in family businesses or through businesswomen’s organizations and associations, in addition to discussing the most important legislative and social obstacles and empowering them in the economic decision, as well as highlighting the most important regional initiatives aimed at increasing social and economic opportunities for women and the impact of women’s participation on economic growth and efforts made In to enable it at all levels.​
